Hawker Pacific has equipped the 3000th Beechcraft King Air with Raisbeck Performance Systems.
The Raisbeck Performance Systems, from Washington-based Raisbeck Engineering, are a suite of upgrade packages that better the aircraft’s performance in a number of areas including improving fuel economy and increasing cruise speed.
The Raisbeck Performance Systems were first introduced for the King Air 200 series in 1982, and in partnership with Hawker Pacific a Royal Flying Doctor Service King Air B200C has become the 3000th King Air in the world to receive the upgrade. The milestone means that half of the 6000-strong global King Air fleet now boast Raisbeck Systems.
The RFDS King Air received the Raisbeck Epic Platinum package, which included Hartzell/Raisbeck Power Props, Ram Air Recovery System, Enhanced Performance Leading Edges, Dual Aft Body Strakes, High Floatation Gear Doors and Crown Wing Lockers.
This King Air is the 31st in the RFDS fleet to receive the Raisbeck Performance Systems treatment, and a further two RFDS King Air B200Cs are expected to receive Raisbeck Epic Platinum installations by the end of June.
“Hawker Pacific has been a partner of Raisbeck Engineering for 19 years and it is the one of the best products we can offer to our King Air customers,” Hawker Pacific CEO Alan Smith said.
“We are very proud to be a part of the major milestone of the 3000th King Air to fly with Raisbeck systems, and even more happy that it was on a medical mission King Air for Australia.”
