CASA has lifted a grounding order on Australia's fleet of M-18 Dromaders.
Thirty aircraft were ordered out of the air following the fatal crash of firebomber VH-TZJ near Ulladulla last month.
"The Civil Aviation Safety Authority has carefully reviewed a range of maintenance issues relating to the Dromader aircraft following the tragic NSW fire fighting accident on 24 October 2013," a CASA statement reads.
"As a result of this safety review new requirements for maintenance inspections of wing components have been put in place.
"These requirements include regular inspections of wing attachment joints for corrosion or cracking. The timing of these inspections depends on how many hours the aircraft has flown.
"Once the operators of Dromader aircraft have complied with the new inspection requirements their aircraft can resume operations."
More information on the grounding is on the Australian Flying news feed.
