AMDA Foundation CEO Justin Giddings has joined the judging panel for the 2025 CASA Wings Awards.

Giddings accepted the role as AMDA Foundation–organiser of the Australian International Airshow–looks to deepen its involvement with general aviation.

“I am pleased and proud to accept the CASA Wings Awards judging position,” Giddings said. “General Aviation is an important part of Australia’s daily life and economy, and a career entry point to the wider aerospace and aviation industry.

"The Wings Awards highlight the efforts of both individuals and companies, and I look forward to working with my peers from Australian Flying, CASA and the Australian Division of the Royal Aeronautical Society to recognise excellence across this community.”

Giddings joins Australian Division of the Royal Aeronautical Society Managing Director Doug Nancarrow, Flying the Outback's Shelley Ross and former editor of Australian Flying Steve Hitchen on the judging panel.

Nominations for the 2025 CASA Wings Awards opened at the beginning of the month and close on 16 November, after which the judging panel will begin their deliberations.

To nominate a person or organisation, go to the Wings Awards page on the Australian Flying website.
