Yorkshire-based aircraft restoration company Jet Art Aviation has put a Hawker Harrier GR3 up for sale after completing an 18-month long restoration.

Jet Aviation described the restoration as its "most in depth and adventurous restoration yet and the end result is stunning."

The aircraft is being offered for sale in running condition with "exciting return to flight possibilities."

Harrier GR3 serial numberĀ XZ130, served with 4 Sqn RAF in Germany, 1 Sqn, 3 Sqn, 233 OCU and 1453 Flight in the Falklands in 1982. It was later used as an instructional airframe and gate guard for the London Air Cadets.

Jet Art Aviation bought the Harrier in 2014 and did a complete mechanical overhaul including starting the Rolls Royce Pegasus engine and operating the variable incidence nozzles that gave the aircraft its vertical flight capabilities.

The aircraft is now offered for sale in 4 Sqn RAF colours.

More information on XZ130 is on the Jet Art Aviation website.
