Temora Aviation Museum (TAM) has canceled the Warbirds Downunder show for 2021, the museum announced today.

Originally scheduled for later this year, Warbirds Downunder was postponed until 6-7 March next year in the hope that the coronavirus situation in Australia would by then allow for significant crowds.

"After reviewing all information, it has become clear that the existing COVID-19 restriction of 500 visitors on site makes holding a major event extremely challenging," TAM said in a statement today. "As a result, the decision has been made to cancel Warbirds Downunder.

"Existing ticket holders will be automatically issued a full refund, which will be facilitated by ticketing partner, Ticketmaster."

In lieu of Warbirds Downunder, TAM has said it will host a different event on the weekend of 6-7 March 2021, with many of their own aircraft featured along with RAAF assets in their centenary year.

More information on the new event will be known in the coming weeks, but the museum said people with existing Warbirds Downunder tickets will get priority.

This event will be in line with NSW Department of Health and be currently limited to 500 people. unless restrictions are lifted to allow more.
