CASA now offers automated airspace authorisations for ReOC holders.
Eligible operators can apply to fly within 5.5 km (3 NM) of select controlled airports, and in restricted airspace over Sydney Harbour. Available at:
- Adelaide, Broome, Cairns, Canberra, Coffs Harbour, Essendon, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney airports
- Sydney Harbour and surrounding areas (R407 A/B)
CASA automatically approves applications that meet the criteria, with no limit on the number you can receive.
