Cirrus Aircraft has established a new international sales centre at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne.
The announcement was made today at the Cirrus Australia conference in Hamilton Island.
Director of Cirrus Melbourne, Charles Gunter, believes the time is right for expansion into the region with Australia’s stable economy providing an ideal environment for Cirrus sales.
“We are delighted to be representing Cirrus Aircraft in this market," he said. "Our goal is to maximise the potential of this innovative product line and inspire the continued development of general aviation in Australia. With the launch of a dedicated sales centre, we can now provide pilots with greater accessibility to Cirrus aircraft.
Cirrus Melbourne will be co-located with AVIA Aircraft and will have Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft immediately available for demonstrations.
“The purchase of a new Cirrus aircraft comes standard with complimentary flight training. We believe safety is paramount and we want to prepare our customers to safely and proficiently operate their aircraft. At Cirrus Melbourne we will work with our training partner, AVIA Aircraft, to coordinate a personalised training program for each new Cirrus pilot”, Gunther concluded.
