There are only days left to nominate for the 2027 CASA Wings Awards, so if there’s an instructor, aero club, flying school or business you’ve been meaning to put forward, now’s the time.

Winners will share in some great prizes:

  • Col Pay Award: Garmin D2 Mach 1 Pro Aviator smartwatch, valued at $2429
  • GA Flying Training Organisation of the Year: $500 fuel credit from World Fuel Services and a one-year AvPlan Premium EFB subscription, valued at $319
  • Aero Club of the Year: $500 fuel credit from World Fuel Services and a one-year AvPlan Premium EFB subscription, valued at $319
  • GA Flying Instructor of the Year: ICOM IC-A16 handheld VHF radio, valued at $425, and a one-year AvPlan Premium EFB subscription
  • Young Achiever of the Year:  GME MT610G Personal Locator Beacon, valued at $425 and a one-year AvPlan Premium EFB subscription

Anyone who nominates a winner also receives a year’s subscription to Australian Flying. Winners will be announced in the March/April 2027 issue.

Nominating is quick and done online, and self-nominations are welcome. The judges are looking for specific examples of what makes a nominee stand out, so a couple of real stories will count for more than broad praise.

Nominate here before submissions close on 15 November.
