Jabiru has appointed four new Jabiru Approved Maintainers (JAMs), giving the Bundaberg manufacturer maintenance coverage in all five mainland states.
All four are graduates of the JAM course run in July.
The new appointees are:
- Ian Crawford, Airspeed Aero, Tyabb, Victoria
- Reuben Bush, Albany Aircraft Maintenance, Western Australia
- David Klye, Cooktown, Queensland
- Darren Christian, Tuna City Aviation, Port Lincoln, South Australia
The appointments take the network into South Australia and Western Australia, and add a second Queensland location well north of the company's Bundaberg base.
Jabiru director Mick Halloran said interest from professional maintainers in joining the program remained strong.
"We're delighted that professional maintainers continue to show a strong interest in partnering with us to provide Jabiru focussed maintenance services to owners and pilots throughout their local areas," he said.
"We will keep building the team with an ambition that no Jabiru owner is more than an hour away from a Jabiru Approved Maintainer."
Jabiru runs the JAM course periodically for maintainers who want to specialise in the company's aircraft and engines.
