AvPlan EFB has launched a browser-based version of its flight planning platform, giving pilots and operators desktop access to their aviation data without requiring any software installation.

AvPlan EFB Web allows users to access flight planning information, aircraft and operational data, account settings and AvPlan Enterprise Cloud from any device running Windows, macOS or Linux. Data synchronises seamlessly between the web platform and existing mobile devices running AvPlan EFB.

AvSoft Australia founder and CEO Bevan Anderson said the web platform reflected how pilots actually work, with many aviation tasks better suited to a larger screen.

"While the iPad remains the preferred device in the cockpit, many aviation tasks are simply easier on a larger screen," he said. "Whether you're planning flights from the office, reviewing operational information at home, or coordinating with other members of your organisation, AvPlan EFB Web provides a fast and convenient way to access your AvPlan account."

The platform is available now. AvSoft says further features and enhancements are planned, with additional announcements for aviation operators expected soon.

AvPlan EFB Web is accessible at avplan-efb.com.
