Oliver recently bought an older Cessna 172H and, after being grounded through the rain season, finally got the chance to take it on a proper day trip. With the weather clearing, he and Mel launched over the water to Tangalooma and Moreton Island, just off the coast of Brisbane.
They dropped into Dunwich, grabbed the local courtesy car for lunch, and made a day of it.
