Even if it all comes to nothing, the Uber air taxi campaign has catalysed some very different thinking when it comes to small aircraft. This one from Carter Aviation is a hybrid helicopter/aeroplane that has both rotor and wings that generate enough lift to bear the load. An interesting machine that seems to tick all the air taxi boxes.
