This video from Warbirds over Monroe earlier this month shows the very un-warbird styling of the North American Navion. A machine that emerged in the optimism that pervaded after WWII, it existed under the NA banner for only two years before Ryan bought the design. Only a bit over 2600 were ever built, of which only one appears on the Australian civil register. It had plenty of power, which gave it a certain grace in aerobatics.
