This is a great thing to watch from the comfort and safety of your office. In this video posted by The Independent, storm chasers plunge their aircraft deep into the eye of Hurricane Melissa. After ploughing through a hurricane wall that featured winds of up to 218 knots, the crew breaks finds themselves in the relative calm of the eye, providing wonderful footage of the experience. The only way home, of course, is back through the wall again. Storm chaser crews have described that experience as like riding a rollercoaster through a car wash.
