Everyone at the average aero club has a happy-hour story about their first solo flight or their first solo navex. Clouds, crowded circuit, got lost ... they're timeless because we never forget them. Now think about the story this man has to tell for the rest of his flying career! On his first solo navex the engine on his Sling gave out, forcing him to pick a paddock and put it down.
