This video from a police car's dashcam shows the moment a Cessna 150 pilot attempts a forced landing on a highway. He seems to be doing OK until the last second when the aircraft stalls. This is a timely reminder to us that even though a highway can be a tempting refuge when the engine stops, you need to plan so that you don't need to make a sharp turn to line-up. Both occupants are apparently still in hospital. Lets wish them all the best.
