This video is part of the ATSB visibility study conducted as part of the investigation into the Mangalore mid-air crash in February 2020. The startling part is exactly how much the see-and-avoid principle let down the crews of both aircraft. The ATSB estimates that the last chance to avoid the accident was 12.5 seconds before the collision, at which point the aircraft were so small in the windscreen that they were virtually invisible. And that doesn't take into account the reduced visibility due to weather. Watch and learn.
