US warbird collector Jerry Yagen has reportedly put his inventory on the market because he can't afford to run them himself any more.

Yagen has 44 warbirds including some of the world's rarest and most iconic survivors of WWII. He recently added a flying Mosquito to his stable.

Some of the aircraft coming on the market will be:

  • B-17G Flying Fortress
  • B-25J Mitchell
  • P-51D Mustang
  • P-40E Kittyhawk
  • FG-1D Corsair
  • FM-2 Wildcat
  • PBY-5A Catalina
  • P-26 Peashooter
  • TBM Avenger
  • De Havilland Mosquito
  • Mk IX Spitfire
  • Mk XIIB Hurricane
  • MkI Hawker Fury
  • Me262
  • FW190
  • Junkers Ju52
  • Fieseler FI-156 Storch

Reports coming from the USA say the Mosquito has already been sold.

Yagen also has a collection of WWI replicas that will also be disposed of.
