In the Friday Flying Video of August 24 we featured a short take-off performed in a Aeroprakt Foxbat and asked readers to send in their nominations of a shorter take-off roll. It was challenging, but some readers did find videos of some incredible efforts. Have a look at these and see what you reckon.

Russell Gray: Super Cub ... who needs a runway?

James Redgrove: Another Super Cub. Impressive landing to boot!

Graham Schutt didn't send us a video, but as a former Cessna dealer he had this to say.

"I believe a C172XP with half tanks and one up will do the same thing across the runway with 10 - 15tkts head wind. I had a comp with a 180 Maule Rocket at Tocumwal Airport 1977 and ate it in the XP much to the surprise of the owner who had many years of GA Flying. The C172XP will also leave behind a C180 / C185 off the deck, with one up in each aircraft. The old C175 will beat a C180 off the deck also. Have had many competitions over the years with owners to prove a point, all with only one up."

If you've got more, keep them rolling in and we'll post them here.
