The Regional Aviation Association of Australia (RAAA) 2013 Meeting and Convention details have been released.

?The Convention will be held at the Palmer Coolum Resort, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, from Wednesday 9 October to Friday 11 October. It brings people together from around Australia and internationally, and provides a platform for delegates to hear
from and speak with industry leaders and professionals, heads of government departments and agencies, technical experts, manufacturers and suppliers.

This year's program will feature guest speakers, exhibitor trade show, social networking functions and an official dinner. 

Guest speakers include CASA Director of Aviation Safety John McCormick and Air Services Australia CEO Margaret Staib.

Presentations from Nine Network Chief Financial and Business Analyst Ross Greenwood, Peter FitzSimons (former Wallaby, media
commentator, author of Charles Kingsford Smith and Those Magnificent Men), and top aerobatic pilot Matt Hall will enhance the speakers program.

Apart from the business aspects, the Convention is renowned for the quality of social and networking opportunities including: the Golf Challenge, Welcome Function Cocktail Party featuring a flying display by Matt Hall, warbirds and the OZ Rocket Man, and static display of rare racing cars and business aircraft; a German bierfest and a gala dinner.
