Executive Manager Peter Cromarty has left CASA as part of the organisational restructure.

Cromarty was Executive Manager Airspace and Aerodromes Regulation Division.

In announcing Cromarty's departure to CASA staff, Director of Aviation Safety Mark Skidmore said the move was part of the changes happening within the regulator.

"Change within any organisation inevitably leads to movement with the leadership group," Skidmore said. "A number of senior managers have already left CASA and new group managers have joined the CASA team. This is a positive renewal process for our organisation."

Cromarty joined CASA in mid-2007 to run the Office of Airspace Regulation. He managed a range of complex airspace issues and worked on improving CASA’s links with organisations such as Airservices Australia and the Australian Defence Force.
