Hawker Pacific will conduct a demonstration tour of Australia with a Beechcraft King Air 250 in October.

The aircraft is scheduled to arrive in the region at the end of this month, and will visit New Zealand, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia before it heads off for a tour of South East Asia.

“The King Air is the best-selling business aircraft in the world," said Tony Jones, Hawker Pacific’s Senior Vice President, Aircraft Sales Group, "so we’re not surprised at the considerable enthusiasm we have received from the market in the lead up to this aircraft’s inaugural tour.”

The King Air range has an installed base of 187 aircraft operating in Australia and NZ, in a variety of missions including government, military and aeromedical.

“What’s also unique about this aircraft is its composite winglets and lightweight composite propellers, enhancing its performance with higher cruise speeds and improved short field capability,: said Jones.

"This capability makes it extremely practical for use in and out of smaller, remote locations without sacrificing any of the other King Air strengths – an appealing feature for owners and operators, particularly in this market."

The next-generation King Air 250 aircraft features composite winglets and lightweight composite propellers, delivering improved runway performance, range, speed and enhanced climb.
