GippsAERO has appointed Fraction Air as an authorized dealer for Mexico. The company will provide new aircraft sales for the GA8 Airvan eight-seat utility aircraft, which GippsAERO believes is well suited to the requirements of the Mexican market.

“The appointment of Fraction Air as our dealer in Mexico is an exciting step forward in opening the Mexican market for our rugged FAA approved utility aircraft,” said Terry Miles, CEO of GippsAERO.

Jose de Jesús Alba, the dealer principal of Fraction Air, said, “We are very excited to be representing GippsAERO and the GA8 Airvan in Mexico. The demand for an economical utility aircraft in Mexico is considerable. The GA8 Airvan will meet the requirements of many different market segments, including the rapidly growing eco-tourism and mining markets.”

Fraction Air has been selling new aircraft in Mexico since 2004, and has its team spread out over various regions. The appointment adds to GippsAERO's global network that includes dealers in China, Central America, Europe, South Africa and the USA.
