CASA has placed operating restrictions on Darwin charter and RPT operator Hardy Aviation to prevent them conducting regular public transport and IFR flights.
The step was taken because Hardy's Chief Pilot failed a routine flight competency check, and so at this stage the operator has no approved CP.
Hardy Aviation operates a charter fleet out of Darwin International including Metros, C441s, C414s, C402s and C210s. Their regular destinations include Port Keats, Daly River and the Tiwi Islands. They also operate a flying school.
