Aeromil Pacific is taking a new Cessna Grand Caravan EX on a demonstration tour of Australia.

The single-engine turbo-prop C208 Caravan is used worldwide for passenger and freight transport, aerial survey, medical evacuation, law enforcement, military, tourism and skydiving. More than 85 Caravans of all types operate in Australia and surrounding regions.

The EX model is powered by an 867 HP PT6A-140, which has brought about a reduction in take-off roll of 350 feet, a 38% improvement in rate-of-climb and a speed increase of 10-12 KTAS in cruise. The standard Caravan has a 675 HP engine.

Commenting on the new Caravan, Aeromil Pacific Managing Director Steve Padgett said “The Caravan has proven to be an incredibly reliable, versatile and successful aircraft in this region. We are excited to present the new Grand Caravan EX to our private and business customers, and with the increased performance, the new EX is generating great interest.

"Our first customer delivery is scheduled for the third quarter and we expect to confirm a strong order list following the demonstration tour."
