Balloon Trek Planned for AUSFLY

Belubula Ballooning has organised a balloon trek to AUSFLY at Narromine in September. Sponsored by energy company Elgas and starting in Wagga Wagga, the trek will take approximately five days to cover the 400-odd km to the fly-in.

The trek departs from The Rock Golf Club and the planned route has overnight stops at Temora, Weddin Mountains, Canowindra and Molong, arriving at Narromine on Thursday September 13.

The balloons will be launched at Narromine as part of AUSFLY, and will participate in the evening balloon glow event, where the balloons are illuminated by their burners in time with music.

AUSFLY is a general aviation fly-in catering for just about all aspects of aviation and runs at Narromine Airport from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 September. More information can be found at www.ausfly.com.au.
