Ukranian manufacturer Aeroprakt has released details of a new light sport aircraft (LSA), the A32.

The aircraft will be marketed alongside the popular Foxbat A22LS.

Foxbat Australia's Peter Harlowe says the new design borrows from the A22, but is faster and has more room inside.

"Bearing a strong family resemblance to the A22, the new aircraft has been in development for over three years, with particular attention to the airframe aerodynamics and cabin ergonomics," Harlowe said. "As a result, the cabin is spacious and quiet and the aircraft will happily cruise in the 110-115 knots range, without affecting its slow speed docile handling characteristics."

The A32 will have a maximum take-off weight of 600 kg in the LSA category, with a projected price tag around $110,000.

Foxbat Australia is expecting an A32 demonstrator in the country within weeks, and is planning a launch for the aircraft in July.

More information is available on the Foxbat Australia website.
