The Regional Aviation Association of Australia has started taking nominations for its 2017 pilot and engineer scholarship program.

Sponsored by Ansett Aviation Training, Hawker Pacific/Australian Avionics and Jeppesen Australia, the program will award scholarships in six areas:

  • Ansett Aviation Training Pilot Scholarship
  • Jeppesen Pilot Scholarship
  • Hawker Pacific/Australian Avionics Aircraft Maintenance (Avionics) Engineer Scholarship
  • Jeppesen Aircraft Maintenance (Avionics) Engineer Scholarship
  • Hawker Pacific/Australian Avionics Aircraft Maintenance (Airframe) Engineer Scholarship

The RAAA has also added a Multi Crew Co-operation Scholarship with the support of Moorabbin Flying Services.

“This scholarship is aimed at pilots seeking their multi-crew cooperation certificates and is a welcome addition to the RAAA’s scholarships," RAAA CEO Mike Higgins said.

“The continued philanthropic commitment of our member organisations to recognise the value of education and training through the provision of these scholarships cannot be undervalued."

Applications are open until 31 July, 2017. Eligibility requirements, selection criteria and application forms can be downloaded from the RAAA website.
