Pacific Airshow Gold Coast (PAGC) returns in August next year, with tickets sales for the beachside event opening yesterday.

The 2025 PAGC, which has the crowd on the beach watching flying displays over the water, was canceled because Cyclone Alfred had done too much damage to the sand that couldn't be corrected in time.

“After the devastation of Cyclone Alfred we are thrilled to announce Pacific Airshow’s triumphant return on 14, 15 and 16 August,” said Kevin Elliott Airshow Director.

“Our aim has always been to bring new experiences to the event each year that eclipse the expectations of our audience and we have plenty of exciting new additions planned for 2026 to stoke even more excitement.”

Although the flying line-up won't be announced until a few months before-hand, Elliott is promising a "blockbuster event" that is expected to draw a crowd of around 130,000 and pump $32 million into the local economy.

Upgrades announced this week include a new garden bar on the sand and a NXTGN STEM LAB.

Gold Coast mayor Tom Tate said PAGC would benefit from restoration work carried out on the beach.

“The City has been working to restore the golden sands of the coast," he said, "and I am thrilled that Kevin and his team are building on the magic of previous years by adding even more breathtaking aerobatics and an incredible entertainment line-up on the ground.

"Book your tickets early and be prepared to be amazed.’’

General entry ticket prices vary from a $40 one-day pass to a $330 three-day premium pass, with hospitality packages ranging from $225 to over $15,000.

Tickets are available online at the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast website.
