After 13 years of hard work by a small group of airport proponents, the Clare Valley Aerodrome north of Adelaide was completed on the weekend with the official opening of the sealed runway and the lighting system. Australian Flying was on hand to help present the group with the 2020 CASA Wings Award for the Aero Club of the Year and joined in the celebrations, which included flying displays by local pilots.
