A new aviation-integrated residential development in Temora is offering pilots the opportunity to live where they fly, with exclusive hangar-home packages now available at SkyPark within the Temora Airpark Estate.

Located in the southern New South Wales town widely regarded as Australia’s recreational aviation capital, the boutique development will feature 34 architecturally designed hangar homes with direct access to airport infrastructure.

Lots range from 1,114 square metres to 2,316 square metres and connect to a 30-metre-wide Code B taxiway network, allowing residents to taxi from their doorstep to the runway.

SkyPark developer Mitch Brennan said the project blends aviation lifestyle with residential convenience.

“We have worked closely with Temora Shire Council to deliver this latest subdivision at Temora Airpark Estate, which will attract a niche audience of aviation enthusiasts, from empty nesters, to retirees, to professionals with a lifelong connection to flight,” Mr Brennan said.

“Packages are fully serviced with power, water, sewer and NBN, and are just moments from Temora’s vibrant town centre. We are now inviting aviation lovers from around the world to invest in a home where the sky isn’t the limit – it’s your backyard.

“This is more than a real estate development – it’s Australia’s most aspirational aviation address that lets residents literally roll from home to hangar.”

The development has been created in alignment with Temora Shire Council’s strategic growth and tourism plans, reinforcing the town’s position as an aviation destination.

Temora Shire Council’s Economic Development Manager, Craig Sinclair, said the subdivision builds on the region’s established aviation credentials.

“Temora’s proud aviation heritage dates back to WWII, with the establishment of the No. 10 Elementary Flying Training School,” Mr Sinclair said.

“Today, Temora serves as a hub for general aviation, hosting events like Warbirds Downunder and offering facilities for gliding, skydiving, and flight training, as well as being the home to Australia’s only flying Spitfires and the oldest flying Tiger Moth, housed at the Temora Aviation Museum.

“We are proud to work with SkyPark Temora to attract a new wave of aviation enthusiasts and transform the region into a premier destination for high-net-worth individuals from around the world.

“This is what happens when regional governments and private enterprise work collaboratively for the greater good.”
