Dassault-owned ExecuJet has expanded its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations with a new base opening at Brisbane Airport.

The new location joins existing ExecuJet MRO facilities at Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

"We are opening the new station in Brisbane to increase our reach in the north-east of Australia and broaden our line maintenance capabilities," said ExecJet Vice President MRO Grant Ingall. "For instance, Brisbane will allow us to meet demand for mobile repair party and aircraft-on-ground support.

"We have already begun dispatching a rapid response team to places in Queensland where operators need support, such as Cairns and the Gold Coast. The Brisbane station has definitely helped us respond faster."

ExecuJet is already supporting a Dassault Falcon 7X operator in Brisbane after recently adding 7X maintenance certification in Australia.

French manufacturer Dassault bought ExecuJet in January this year, expanding the company's Falcon jet capability. ExecuJet also has authorisations for Bombardier, Embraer and Gulfstream aircraft as well as General Electric, Rolls-Royce, Honeywell and Collins maintenance capability.
