Local Diamond Aircraft agent Hawker Pacific is sending their DA62 twin on an extensive introductory demo tour of Australia from next week.

The currently schedule for the seven-seat twin covers all states except Tasmania and includes regional areas as well as the capital cities, making it one of the broadest tours of any new aircraft to Australia in the past 20 years.

The DA62 is powered by two 180-hp Austro diesel engines, making it capable of maintaining 16,000 feet on one engine and cruising at 180 KTAS with a fuel flow of only 58 lph combined.

Australian Flying featured a flight test of the DA62 in Austria in the January-February issue.
