AvSoft, the company behind the AvPlan Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), has bought the Command Software suite of products.
Command Software develops the Command Flight Planner and Command Log Book that are designed to operate on Windows computers.
"We will continue to support and develop these products into the foreseeable future and provide the on-going navigation data update subscription services," an AvSoft announcement released yesterday said.
"We aim to have the current Command Flight Planner product quickly integrated into the AvPlan Cloud, allowing Australian pilots to plan flights on their Windows desktop and wirelessly push flight plans to your iPad running AvPlan EFB, providing a true desktop to mobile integration experience."
