Channel 31 program The Flying Show has organised an aviation expo for next month.
The expo is schduled for the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds in Flemington, Vic, 22-23 October.
According to The Flying Show, the expo intends to "showcase the best in Australian aviation from aviation schools and clubs, as well as hobby and radio controlled aircraft up onto ultra-lights and even full sized replicas.
"We are aiming to make the first Flying Show Expo a resounding success."
The exhibitor list includes:
- Powered parachutes
- Sport Planes
- Gliders and para-gliders
- Ultra-light aircraft
- Model and hobby aircraft
- Drones
- Flight Simulators
- Skydiving
- Hot air balloons
- Trikes
- Mosquito Helicopters
- Parachuting
Ticket prices have been set at $28 per adult for both days, or $20 for a single day, with children at $10 per day or $16 for both days. Family packages are also available.
The Flying Show screens on Channel 31 at 6.30 pm on Wednesday evenings.
