Australia company Airflite has been appointed as the new Diamond Aircraft agent for Indonesia, through subsidiary company Airflite Singapore, it was announced overnight.
Airflite is a general-service GA company that is also the Australian representative for Piper Aircraft, but has been maintaining a fleet of Diamond DA40 NGs
"We see Diamond Aircraft as an extremely progressive and innovative company with a product range that is ideally suited to the Indonesian market," said Airflite Global Vice President Aircraft Sales.
"The Jet-A burning Austro engine is a perfect solution for the Indonesian market where avgas supplies are limited. Diamond Aircraft provides cost effective solutions for flight training, business aviation and special missions.
"We forecast long-term flight training growth in this region. Furthermore, a new generation of entrepreneurs are looking for innovative products to suit their growing need for cost effective travel throughout the Indonesian archipelago.

Airflite is not the official representative for Diamond in Australia or New Zealand. The agency for those countries lies with Utility Air in Sydney.
