Cessna's new TTx composite four-seat aircraft will tour Australia during April and May this year.

The TTx is a low-wing composite aircraft that owes its heritage to the Columbia 400 and the Cessna Corvalis.

Powered by a twin turbocharged Continental TSIO-550-C six-cylinder engine turning out 310 HP, the TTx has a top speed of 235 knots, making it the fastest aircraft in its class, according to dealer Aeromil Pacific.

“You just have to look at the exterior lines and the interior to know this aircraft is something special. It looks fast!" said Aeromil CEO Steve Padgett.

"The speed, performance and handling characteristics along with the range, will offer private and business aviators an outstanding aircraft for Australia. The new TTx enhances the renowned Cessna range of single engine aircraft.”

Inside, the TTx features a Garmin G2000 avionics system and a glass cockpit with dual 14.1 inch high definition displays and touch screen controls. The TTx is also equipped with the Garmin Electronic Stability Protection (ESP) system, a feature designed to help pilots keep the high-performance aircraft operating within the normal flight envelope.
