This fly-in reunion invites members of the past and present to join other interested aviation enthusiasts to fly or drive in to be part of this event. Aviation attractions including flying demonstrations and static aircraft old and new are planned over the week-end. The Latrobe Valley Aero Club will host the event and will ensure everyone is well catered for. Accommodation, transport as required, meals and refreshments will be made available on site. Visiting aircraft will have a safe and secure area to tie down close to the clubrooms. Friday, being the first day, will be a meet and greet day to welcome all. Saturday will be a day where local members and visitors alike have the opportunity to tour the airport and see it as it is today. Following lunch on Saturday afternoon a not to be missed presentation of a variety of aircraft flying selected routines by local and specially selected display pilots. This is not an airshow but a flying display for our aviation members and enthusiasts. While the general public is not invited, some may show up on the day. A number of aircraft will be on static display and a selection of club and airport memorabilia will be on show for casual viewing. Saturday night will present annual Latrobe Valley Aero Club Wings Dinner which will be a special event. A special guest speaker will be invited to present his or her aviation story while the musicians in the band and dancers take a break. The event will be well catered for and there will be a chance to tell your own stories on the night and catch up with new and old friends. We are hoping for a memorable event in the nicest possible way. Sunday will be a day to encourage further flying and socialisation before everyone heads for home. For those who wish to take short flights at any time to nearby aerodromes and sights, it is there for the asking. We invite all our aviation friends to join us for this special occasion to participate and enjoy everything we have to offer.
