Organisers of Warbirds Downunder, one of Australia's largest warbird and antique aircraft gatherings, today announced new dates for the postponed 2020 air show.

The event will now be held in Temora, NSW, 6-7 March 2021.

Originally scheduled for 17-18 October this year, organisers were forced to postpone the show because of COVID-19 restrictions.

The organisers said that existing tickets for the air show would be honoured for the March event.

"We hope this new date suits existing ticket holders," the announcement said. "If it does, there is no need for you to take any action – you will be emailed updated tickets with the new dates, over the next one to two weeks.

"If the new date doesn't work for you, we apologise, and are pleased to provide a full refund of event tickets and camping tickets.

"Please note ... refunds to the original event must be requested by 11:59 pm October 16th 2020."

At this point, new ticket sales will be for general entry only as the grandstand is already sold out once physical distancing rules required by the NSW government are taken into account.

If the restrictions are lifted or modified, Warbirds Downunder will release Premium Grandstand tickets and allow upgrades from general entry.
