Swinburne University of Technology to host Aviation Seminar Series

Swinburne University of Technology is gearing up to host its 15th annual Aviation Seminar Series next month.

To be held from February 8-10 in the Advanced Technologies and the Engineering Building at the Swinburne’s Hawthorn campus in Victoria, the three-day event will feature presentations on a variety of topics imperative to gaining a deep understanding of the ever-evolving nature of the Australian aviation industry.

At this year’s instalment of the seminar series, special focus will be given to the theme of ‘Fatigue in Aviation’ and dealing specifically with operational implications and counter-measures.

Presentations will be given by the likes of CASA, the ACCC, Airservices Australia, the Bureau of Meteorology, Airbus, Thales and Emirates.

During the three-day event, participants will be given opportunities to interact with the expert presenters, other industry delegates and university staff.
