The Regional Aviation Association of Australia (RAAA) has partnered with Ansett Aviation Training to launch a new pilot training scholarship.
Funded by Tullamarine-based Ansett Aviation Training and with a total value of $22,000, the RAAA Ansett Aviation Training Pilot Scholarship will award two scholarships as encouragement to the continuing education of promising future pilots.
The scholarship winners will together undergo a complete endorsement on either a Beechcraft Super King Air B200 or Fairchild Metroliner III/23 aircraft types, with the total cost of the endorsement courses covered by Ansett Aviation Training.
Either course will run for 12 working days and at the completion of which the scholarship winners will be endorsed as long as they pass the check ride, which includes three take-off and landings in an aircraft at the completion of the course.
