The Regional Aviation Association of Australia (RAAA) has announced the dates and venue for the annual RAAA Meeting and Convention.

The RAAA Meeting & Convention will be held over three days – 10 to 12 October - at the Hyatt Regency Coolum on the Sunshine Coast. The agenda includes the main speakers program, exhibitors trade show, social networking functions and an official dinner. At the 2009 staging of the event Jack Pelton, then President, CEO and Chairman of Cessna, was the lead speaker.

The RAAA plays a significant role in the aviation industry throughout Australia, representing and promoting the combined interests of regional airline members, and regional and general aviation.

The annual Meeting & Convention is a major event on the aviation calendar. Commenting on its importance the RAAA CEO, Paul Tyrrell, said, “The event brings people and business together from around Australia and internationally, it is of tremendous benefit to the industry as a whole, providing the platform for members to come together and hear from and speak with industry leaders and professionals, regional operators, technical experts, manufacturers and suppliers.

“CASA, the Government, and other regulatory bodies also contribute significantly to the program.”

Attractive registration and accommodation options are available from a full convention package to a single-day visit. For further information email meccaconcepts@bigpond.com or visit the RAAA website.
