Pilatus Business Aircraft has launched a unique iPad delivery program for new Pilatus PC-12 NG purchases.
Evolving the aircraft delivery and ownership experience, the Swiss turboprop manufacturer will give new owners of the Pilatus PC-12 NG an Apple iPad containing interactive content customised to each owner’s individual aircraft as well as delivery documents, owner’s manuals and a variety of useful aviation apps.
Each iPad comes pre-loaded with the Pilots Information Manual (PIM), an introduction to the company and the PC-12 NG, and key delivery documents. Also included is customised content documenting the manufacture, assembly and completion of each owner’s particular aircraft, as well as useful apps such as Fore Flight, My Radar Pro and others.
Pilatus is the first aircraft manufacturer to incorporate the iPad in such a manner for new customers.
“Not only does the new program simplify the delivery process for our owners, it also reflects their affinity for leading-edge technology,” Pilatus President and CEO, Thomas Bosshard, said of the iPad delivery program.
“This is just the first step – Pilatus will continue to develop the program to make delivery, service and flight planning even easier for our customers.”
