National CFI conference registration opening soon
Registration is about to open for the CASA-sponsored 2011 National Chief Flying Instructors conference, which is being held in conjunction with the Safeskies 2011 conference.
The CFI conference is being held at Canberra's Hyatt Hotel from October 26-27 - the same venue and dates for Safeskies 2011.
The conference will focus on two key issues: threat and error management and generational learning styles. Both topics are vitally important to all CFIs. Those who take part in the conference will hear from experts on these topics, as well as taking part in debates and discussions with fellow aviation professionals. The conference will cover issues relevant to both fixed wing and rotary pilot training.
Places at the Chief Flying Instructors conference are limited, so it's important for CFIs interested in coming to book early. There is no charge for the conference, with CASA meeting the costs.
Anyone planning to attend should register as soon as bookings open, as well as making accommodation reservations as early as possible due to the popularity of Safeskies.
