Hawker Pacific New Zealand has been appointed as an authorised Beechcraft Service Centre.

The move comes after strong sales and deliveries of Beechcraft aircraft into the region. Working out of its Auckland facilities, Hawker Pacific New Zealand can now provide full service support for King Airs, Beech Barons and Bonanzas.

"We are extremely pleased that Hawker Beechcraft has again chosen to partner with Hawker Pacific to provide customer service and support to Beechcraft owners in New Zealand," Doug Park, Hawker Pacific Senior Vice President Australia & NZ Operations/Special
Programs, said.

“This appointment is a vital part of our strategy to ensure our product support continues to closely match our customer requirements through the product life cycle. Moving forward, the appointment allows Hawker Pacific to not only continue to deliver support to our local customers, but further enhances our in-country capability.”

In other Hawker Pacific news, the company announced at the Avalon Airshow this week the delivery of the first King Air 350 into aeromedical service with the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The delivery is the first of a five aircraft deal that includes two King Air 350Cs and three King Air B200Cs. The RFDS's South Eastern section will operate the aircraft under contract to the Air Ambulance Service New South Wales.

“We are delighted that the King Air 350C has been selected to operate alongside the 200C, which has been the primary aircraft providing aeromedical services throughout Australia," Hawker Pacific CEo Alan Smith said.

And finally, Hawker Beechcraft also announced at Avalon that its Hawker 4000 super-midsize business jet, the flagship of the Hawker range, has received type certification from CASA.
