Gulfstream Aerospace has announced it'll have a selection of its business jets on show at next week's Australian International Airshow at Avalon Airport.
The Georgia-based business jet manufacturer will tap the breadth of its current range for Avalon, with its entry level G150, larger G450, and even larger G550 all being displayed at next week’s major event.
While the much-hyped but still in development G650 will remain at Gulfstream HQ as it continues to be put through its test program, these three aircraft represent a sizeable commitment to Avalon by Gulfstream.
“Avalon 2011 represents an opportunity for us to demonstrate the capabilities of our mid-cabin aircraft and to confirm the far-reaching capabilities of our large-cabin aircraft,” regional senior vice president Roger Sperry, who will be present for the duration of the airshow, said.
“The G150, for example, has steep approach certification from both the Federal Aviation Administration and the European Aviation Safety Agency, meaning it can land at and take off from a number of restricted airports, including London City.
“The G550 can fly from Avalon to Anchorage, and the G450 can easily take eight passengers from Avalon to Hong Kong. We want our customers to know we have a full range of aircraft and can right-size the aircraft to their particular requirements.”
