Aeromil Pacific has announced it will host a three-day aviation display in the heart of Sydney's CBD later this month.

Aeromil’s ‘Live The Dream’ aviation display will take place in Martin Place in Sydney’s CBD from July 28-30. As part of the event, the Sunshine Coast-based Cessna dealer will have a new glass-cockpit Cessna 172 on display as well as a Cessna 182 Flight Simulator, a new Garmin G1000 glass-cockpit Training Kiosk, and information on the entire Cessna range, from the Skycatcher LSA right through to the Citation Mustang and Citation X.

The new Cessna 172 on display at the event will be sold at a special price with a value added package that includes training, fuel, finance, insurance and maintenance.

“This has never been done before,” says Aeromil Pacific Managing Director Steve Padgett of the event. “I am delighted to say we have landed a first with a Cessna 172 on display in the middle of Sydney. It will be all about promoting aviation, living the dream and sharing the passion we have for flying.

“For some, living the dream is learning to fly for the sheer enjoyment of the experience with family and friends; others, a flying career and for many in business, living the dream is flying in a business jet to escape the endless frustrations of airline travel and get home in time for dinner.”

Visitors to the display will experience flying over Sydney Harbour in a flight simulator and see the inside of an aircraft cockpit with new generation glass screen avionics, powered-up, and ready for flight. Guests will also have the opportunity talk to aviation industry experts.

“People often have questions about aviation and are not quite sure how to get the answers,” Padgett explains. “We will have a very knowledgeable and experienced team on hand to talk about all things aviation, from basic to jet pilot training to owning and operating all types of aircraft, purchase and finance options, charter and insurance. Our aim is to give our guests a great experience and a better understanding of flying that will get them to look to the skies with us.”
