Textron Aviation announced yesterday that it has delivered the 300th Cessna Citation CJ4 mid-range executive jet.
Launched in 2010, the single-pilot CJ4 is the largest of Cessna's 525 jet range, which includes also the CJ3 and Citation M2.
The Citation CJ4 continues to be a standout in the light jet segment due to its combination of high performance, low operating costs and class-leading cabin amenities,” said Rob Scholl, Textron Aviation senior vice president, Sales and Marketing.
“Our light jet product range, led by the Citation CJ4, continues to pace this segment globally in terms of deliveries, primarily because customers appreciate what they get in terms of productivity and value.”
The CJ4 carries nine passenger and has an IFR range of 1926 nm, a useful load of 470 kg and a maximum cruise speed of 451 KTAS
Cessna sold 29 CJ4s last year and six aircraft in the first quarter of 2019.
The milestone aircraft was delivered to a steel manufacturer in Minnesota.
