These photos were taken by Australian Flying flight test pilot John Absolon at the official launch of the Tecnam Twin P2006T Australian demo tour at the Sunshine Coast Aero Club on Friday August 27.
The launch was well attended and included an address from both Bruce Stark of Tecnam Australia and Giovanni Nustrini, Managing Director of Tecnam Australasia. Bruce MacManagle, a retired CASA inspector and now an independent testing officer, also presented his flight evaluation of the Tecnam Twin.
Central Queensland cattleman Steve Swan, the first Australian Tecnam Twin customer, was also present, having flown to the launch in his long-serving Tecnam P92 2000 RG, which he’ll replace when his P2006T arrives by year’s end. Read more about the Tecnam Twin Australian demo tour here.
