Queensland floods

A look at how the recent Queensland floods have affected some parts of the aviation community in southeast Queensland.

Australian Flying reader Martin Hone took these photos recently while helping with the clean-up effort in Grantham. A picture paints a thousand words, and these pictures, of a dilapidated DH-82, a nose-planted Jabiru, and a mud-riddled engine, are pretty dire.

Our thoughts our with our fellow aviators in both Queensland and Victoria as they work to recover from the recent flood disasters.
